Association of Roma Novi Becej has completed the three-year project "No More Victims - Roma Girls and Women Responding to Violence" supported by the UN Trust Fund for the Elimination of Violence against Women in a partnership with UNWOMEN.
The Association of Roma Novi Becej, within the framework of the program "Integrated Response to Violence against Women and Girls in Vojvodina, Phase II", developed the Methodology for conducting a Case Conference, which was officially presented to the Government AP Vojvodina in Novi Sad, on 24.4.2019.
Three-day workshop on ‘Intersectional Approaches and the Value of Specialist ‘by and for’ organisations’ was held in the period 08 -10 April 2019. in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The National Coalition for ending Child Marriages is a union of individuals, institutions and organizations that work to combat child marriages and to strengthen the option of a safe choice for Roma girls.
Association of Roma Novi Becej submitted an single intervention regarding the problem of the inaccessibility of Safe Houses for Roma women as well as other aspects of systemic protection of women with experience of sexual violence that do not take into account the specific position of Roma women.

Today is United Nations Universal Children’s Day. This year, in Serbia, it is marked with the slogan "Blue for every child". Association of Roma Novi Becej will mark this day with the slogan "Blue for girls" because its work is very much devoted to the ending of the practice of early, child marriages.
Representatives of 15 institutions today signed an Agreement on cooperation in protecting children from violence, abuse and neglect in the municipality of Novi Becej.
The International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated annually on 11th October. The main aims of the day are to promote girl’s empowerment and fulfillment of their human rights while also highlighting the challenges that girls all over the world face.
