The National Coalition for ending children's marriages in Serbia was established on February, 21st, 2019 in Belgrade. The National Coalition for ending Child Marriages is a union of individuals, institutions and organizations that work to combat child marriages and to strengthen the option of a safe choice for Roma girls. The results of the National Coalition will be relevant across the country, while activities may also be directed to specific municipalities and / or cities, if necessary. The aim of the National Coalition is to bring together relevant stakeholders in a meaningful and coordinated action that would contribute to ending child marriage in Serbia. Associations of Roma Novi Becej, is the member organization of the National Coalition. Danica Jovanovic, its President, represent the Association in the National Coalition. With this membership, Association of Roma Novi Becej strengthens its role in the processes of influencing on the ending of child marriage in Serbia.
