Training on „Fundraising from local resources“

Representatives of the Association of Roma Novi Becej, supported by the TRAG Foundation and OAK Foundation held the personal training on „Fundraising from local resources“, on May 4th and 5th, 2018, in Belgrade.
Assoication of Roma Novi Becej under the framework of the national Campaign „Moth of Roma Women`s Activism“ had implemented the workshop "Sexual violence against Roma women”.
Under the national action „Month of Roma Women`s Activism“ the round table „Position of Roma women in AP Vojvodina – challenges and perspectives“ happened organized by the Vojvodina Provincial Ombudsman.
Under the framework of this year Campaign Month of Roma Women`s Activism, on April 3rd 2018, the Public Hearing in the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia was held in partnership with the Board for Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality.
As member organisation of the Network Women against Violence and Roma Women’s Network, activists of the Association of Roma Novi Becej and Roma Women’s Network of Banat participated in the Belgrade Women’s Day protest.
Association of Roma Novi Becej and Roma Women’s Network of Banat on the International Human Rights Day had organized the Street march and peaceful standing on the Square of Liberation in the Center of Novi Becej with the message „In the name of victims of sexual violence, in the name of girls and women who are raped“.
The project had set the goal to improve capacities of Roma women`s movement in Vojvodina to advocate for Roma rights and gender equality at the local and provincial level and to support Roma women to Roma feminist activism in Vojvodina.
On October 31st, 2017, representative of the Association of Roma Novi Becej, Zorica Šurlan, together with Aleksandra Nestorov - Network Women against Violence, spoked on Femicide in Serbia. During presentation statistical records on femicide against Roma women 2010 - 2016.
On October 11th, at noon, Volunteers of the Association of Roma Novi Becej had organized the public action titled “Stop arranged marriages and violence against girls”, marking the International Girls` Day.
