Vesna Cerimovic and Danica Jovanovic spoke on the first ELC in Vienna from 05.10 till 08.10.2017. Representatives of the Roma Women’s Center „Romnjako Ilo“ (Roma women`s heart) spoke about „fefying sexuality among Roma women“ emphasizing problem of early marriages of Roma girls and heteronormativity that is imposed to Roma girls at the early age. During presentation the newest publication „We Oppose the Custom: We Love Ourselves“, which was translated into English language for the purposes of the Conference distribution was shared, representing the collected testimonies on trauma of Roma girls victims of practice of early, arranged marriages in Serbia.
