Today, the Multiethnic Feminist Network of Vojvodina supported the Roma community in Ukraine and the Ukrainian people because of Russia's invasion of that country. "We want to send messages of support to the Ukrainian people, as well as to the Roma community that is there and surviving various forms of torture, trauma, racism and discrimination," said Vesna Cerimovic of the Novi Becej Roma Association, which coordinates the Network in the press release on the occasion of the International day against racism.

"Our goal is to point out the importance of respecting Roma women's rights, living without violence, femicide, racism and discrimination," said Danica Jovanovic, coordinator of the Multiethnic Feminist Network.
