Activists of the Association of Roma Novi Becej, on May 18^th, 2018, at 14.00h in the office space of the Association, will implement the action on the Remembrance Day for murdered women victims of violence.

Our gathering in the office space of the Association will remind:

1. that in accordance to the Ombudsman report Roma women report violence disproportionably compared to majority population.
2. that Roma women are discriminated by institutions, that have no access to Safe Houses and if admitted they are secondary victimized and discriminated in them
3. that number of femicide cases in Serbia rises and that institutions are weakening in providing protection to women survivors of violence
4. that it is needed that we all react and trust women reporting violence in order to prevent it as well as femicide.
